Mahalaxmi Farm Mango Pickle: A Traditional Ring-Shaped Style of Aam Ka Achar

Mango pickle has always been more than just a side dish in Indian homes. It brings together the tanginess of raw mango, the warmth of spices, and the familiar taste of traditional Indian achar. At Mahalaxmi Farm, we prepare our mango pickle in a traditional ring-shaped style using farm-grown raw mangoes, cold-pressed mustard oil, and carefully selected spices.

Bhatt's Ring-Shaped Mango Pickle: Aam Ka Achar

Aam ka achar is a classic part of North Indian meals, and our Bhatt's Ring-Shaped Mango Pickle brings a traditional touch to this much-loved pickle. Fresh raw mangoes are cut into rings and blended with cold-pressed mustard oil and traditional spices to create a traditional ring shaped mango pickle with a bold, tangy flavour.

The mango rings are prepared in small batches, keeping the process close to the traditional way of making a raw mango pickle at home. Every bite has the natural tartness of green mango along with the warmth and aroma of Indian spices.

What Makes Mahalaxmi Farm Pickles Special?

At Mahalaxmi Farm, our pickles are made with a focus on traditional preparation, quality ingredients, and the flavours we grew up with. Our mango pickle with mustard oil combines farm-grown raw mangoes with cold-pressed mustard oil and carefully selected traditional spices.

For our traditional mango pickle, we use सरसों के दाने / राई (Mustard Seeds), सौंफ (Fennel Seeds), कलौंजी (Nigella Seeds), मेथी दाना (Fenugreek Seeds), हल्दी (Turmeric), and लाल मिर्च (Red Chilli). Together, these ingredients add aroma, warmth, colour, and the bold flavour associated with a traditional North Indian mango pickle.

The mangoes are prepared in a ring-shaped style and made in small batches, keeping the process close to traditional pickle-making methods. This combination of raw mango, cold-pressed mustard oil, and traditional spices gives our pickle its tangy, bold, and spiced character.

Our range also includes jackfruit, karonda, kulcha, and garlic pickles. Each one has its own flavour, but they all follow the same focus on handmade, small-batch preparation and traditional Indian achar flavours.

From Farm to Jar

From selecting raw mangoes to preparing each batch, we keep the process simple and rooted in tradition. Our aim is to make a handmade mango pickle that feels familiar to the kind of flavour that reminds you of homemade achar prepared in Indian kitchens.

Our ring shaped mango pickle brings together farm-grown mangoes, cold-pressed mustard oil, traditional spices, and a family-inspired approach to pickle making. It is a small-batch pickle made to bring a little more flavour and nostalgia to your everyday meal.

Frequently asked questions

Why are the mangoes cut into rings instead of standard cubes?
Cutting the mango into uniform rings is an old family technique. The ring cut exposes more surface area of the raw mango, allowing the cold-pressed mustard oil and crushed spices to soak deep into the fruit right up to the inner shell, ensuring every single bite has an even burst of flavor.
Where do the raw mangoes come from?
They are grown, nurtured, and harvested directly from Mahalaxmi Farm, located in the Himalayan foothills of Haldwani. We hand-pick them at peak sourness so the pickle carries an authentic, lively tartness naturally.
Are there any chemical preservatives, vinegar, or artificial food colors added?
None at all. We believe good food doesn't need chemical shortcuts. We rely solely on ancestral preservation methods-sunlight, natural salt, and pure unrefined cold-pressed mustard oil-to keep the pickle fresh and delicious.
How spicy is this mango pickle?
It sits right in the comforting North Indian sweet spot: medium-spiced and deeply warming. We use a gentle blend of stone-ground Kashmiri red chilli for a deep, rich color and regular red chilli for a balanced kick that complements your food without burning your palate.
Does this product contain any allergens?
Contains mustard, including yellow mustard seeds and cold-pressed mustard oil. It is not suitable for individuals with mustard allergies. Please refer to the ingredient list on the product label for full details.
Why is there a layer of oil resting on top of my jar?
In traditional Indian homes, mustard oil acts as nature’s protective blanket. Keeping the mango pieces submerged under oil seals out ambient air and moisture, preventing natural spoilage and keeping the pickle fresh for months.
How should I store this pickle after opening the jar?
Store it in a cool, dry cupboard away from direct sunlight. To keep it in peak condition, always use a completely dry, clean spoon, and gently press the mango rings down so they stay resting beneath the oil layer.
What is the shelf life of this pickle?
It is best enjoyed within 12 months from the date of manufacture. Because it is naturally cured, the flavors often mature and get richer as the jar sits in your pantry.
What are the delivery charges and Cash on Delivery (COD) options?
We ship across India. Orders of Rs 699 and above receive Free Delivery. For orders below Rs 699, a flat shipping fee of Rs 65 applies. If you prefer to pay when the package arrives, Cash on Delivery is available for an additional Rs 49.
What happens if my jar leaks or breaks during transit?
We pack each glass jar with immense care, but transit accidents occasionally happen. If your jar arrives cracked, leaking, or damaged, simply message or email us clear photos of the package within 48 hours of delivery. We will immediately arrange a free replacement or a full refund.
